Our motorcoach will pick us up at the airport and transport us to Venice where we will spend the afternoon. We will take a vaporetto (water bus) on the Grand Canal to St. Mark's Square. We will visit St. Mark's Basilica and Bell Tower (optional), The Doge's Palace and a glass factory where we will watch some glass blowers at work, followed by an opportunity to buy some glass.
Our motorcoach will take us to our hotel in Padova (45 min) where we will check-in and then have a welcome dinner. (overnight Padova).
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit St. Anthony's Basilica where we will have Mass, then stop to pray at his tomb and then to his incorrupt tongue and vocal cords, where you will view and can pray. We will see the cloisters and then have free time to stop by the Basilica gift shop and have more time for prayer.
Then we will go to see part of a stage in the Giro d'Italia grand tour bicycle race.
