We can combine the amount of days you would like to ski (either in one area or multiple areas/countries) with the amount of days you would like to sightsee. If you just want a day or two of skiing, you could go in the Spring and there will be a better chance the weather will better for your sightseeing days.
Skiing can be either downhill or cross country or some of both.
