Zermatt – Swiss German mile high town in the shadow of the Matterhorn (14,692 ft/ 4,478m) one of the tallest mountains in the Swiss Alps. Great skiing in Winter and one can ski in the late Spring and Summer above 10,000 feet. In the late Spring and Summer there are numerous hiking trails to explore. or just take the gondola up to 12,500 ft for the great views year round.
